Imagine biking 4,000 miles across the country. That's exactly what 30 riders are doing right now, and they're stopped in the Rochester area tonight.
The group is called "4K for Cancer". They are riding to raise money for different cancer organizations. The riders started their journey a couple weeks ago in Baltimore and they plan to ride all the way to Seattle.
The group stopped Saturday at the Hope Lodge Hospitality House on the Colgate Divinity Campus. They were cooking up dinner for the residents staying there.
“It's incredibly exciting. I know I love the outdoors, I love traveling. So that is an amazing experience to go across and see every single community and town, ride each road,” said Brian Keeley, who is riding with 4K for Cancer.
The group made a $500 donation to the hope lodge today. The riders stayed at the college at Brockport Saturday night before heading to Niagara Falls.
